The Rufford Foundation Learning Event Nepal 2024 aimed to foster experience sharing and collaboration among Nepali Rufford grantees through a closed camp filled with skill development sessions. Eighteen participants were selected from over four hundred grantees to date, considering diversity, gender, and career stage, with a focus on active grantees (prioritising those from 2017 to mid-2024). The event had a balance of activities including workshops, discussions, grantee poster presentations, games, and field trips led by local stewards. Workshop and activity topics were informed by participant responses to a pre-event survey. Greenhood Nepal, a conservation non-profit, hosted the learning event at Tigerland Safari Resort, Chitwan, Nepal.
