The main aim of this project is to raise the awareness of schoolchildren and local communities on nature conservation and save drinking water by making a contribution for a sustainable development.
Beshikjon and Akman Municipalities are regarded as one of the best habitats for endemic steppe reptile species as Agrionemys horsfieldi in Central Asia. These Municipalities are very often victims of soil erosion and floods due to a rapid human pressure as overgrazing and land degradation that bring a significant danger to economy and environment, especially for the local biodiversity.
In order to address the above problem, the project will focus strongly on involving local people and schoolchildren in nature conservation by increasing awareness on the surrounding environment and its importance for future generation.
