The research endeavor, focused on the conservation of the Dipterocarpaceae species of Hopea bilitonensis and Shorea balangeran in Bangka-Belitung Islands, will progress through several pivotal stages. These encompass spatial distribution analysis, propagule collection, propagation protocol development, species reintroduction initiatives, and the implementation of public awareness and capacity-building programs.

Over a three-year duration, the project will collaborate with several institutions both local and national. Moreover, to enhance public comprehension of Hopea bilitonensis and Shorea balangeran, alongside their propagation methodologies, research findings will be disseminated through diverse ways, including international publications and workshops.
