Releasing the biggest one caught during our research 81cm 5.6kg.

We will continue our work that we started last year with the main focus to gather data about the distribution, spawning grounds, feeding behaviour and daily migrations of the fishes which are influenced by the change of seasons and water levels. We will continue to photograph fishes for individual identification and will try to influence other sport fishermen to help us improve the results and with that give us better chances to more understand the biology and ecology of this amazing animal. General public will be influenced by workshops and lectures, we will share t-shirts for the kids and adults, leaflets. We will make one info table with the basic biology and ecology facts of the Danube salmon as the top predator of Una River. During this year we will also work with the government on making of the regulation protected and strictly protected species and we hope that this regulation will help to conserve and preserve Danube salmon populations in Una River.
