Previous Rufford grant provided first ever steps in wolf monitoring and non-invasive sampling across Bosnia-Herzegovina and helped us to set up conditions for the future conservation actions. We have observed the condition of grey wolf population from several locations and we could declare that abundance of this population is decreasing. Therefore, it is necessary to enlarge the territory of monitoring and to continue sampling in a wider area across Bosnia-Herzegovina. Our aim is to further assess the condition of the grey wolf population in order to continue with necessary development of its conservation management plans.
