The aim of this project is to promote frog conservation for school children in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia
Indonesia is a country with rich biodiversity, but a low awareness of its natural resources, and very little awareness of the need to conserve amphibians and reptiles.
The aim of this project is to promote frog conservation for school children in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.
This program will involve at least 5 local schools (3 primary schools, 1 junior school and 1 high school) and will focus on programs to enhance awareness of frog biodiversity, the need for its conservation, and how it may be conserved through enhancing the knowledge of teachers and schoolchildren, producing educational materials and giving opportunity for young people to experience frog research.
