This project aims to design and develop a walking trail, thereby providing visitor’s access to Juthour while maintaining the land as a protected space for biodiversity conservation.
Mashjar Juthour in Ramallah offers a beautiful nature reserve that protects native trees and plant species, working through educational programs and eco tourism to model green values and encourage greater individual and communal responsibility towards our threatened natural environment and heritage in Palestine. Mashjar Juthour envisions a Palestine in which people embrace the role of environmental activist and take responsibility towards nature, together creating a sustainable & green future for Palestine.
This project aims to design and develop a walking trail, thereby providing visitor’s access to Juthour while maintaining the land as a protected space for biodiversity conservation. To ensure the success of this trail, Juthour will design a guide training manual and a visitors’ guide book as well as providing training for volunteer guides. to lead informative hikes for school groups and community members to learn about Palestine’s rich biodiversity and our conservation work.
