Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark is located in Ha Giang province, the northeastern of Viet Nam. It is the first Geopark in Viet Nam and the second one in Southeast Asia. There is a special plant component in this area. Some threatened plant species has been found such as Taxus chinensis, Amentotaxus hatuyenensis, Cephalotaxus hainanensis, Cupressus funebris. However, there is very limited information of plant diversity in this area, especially threatened plant species. The aim of project is to fill this gap and to contribute for biodiversity conservation in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark as well as in Vietnam.
