Saving the Pangolins: Ethno Zoology and Pangolin Conservation Awareness in Human Dominated Landscapes, Nepal

This project builds on the previous concept of setting up community-based pangolin conservation models through the direct participation of local communities and the need for capacity enhancement and conservation education campaigns to promote the conservation attitude and behavioural change are seriously felt to support the community conservation initiatives for the long run.

In this regard, the proposed project aims to strengthen the community-based pangolin conservation areas with substantial and local capacity-building components, community-based monitoring/anti-poaching, and outreach campaigns, with site-specific management plan production to safeguard the remaining population.
