In last 25 years ecological awareness in Bosnia and Herzegovina is on low level. Also not enough attention is dedicated to conservation and protection of biodiversity. For this reason focus of our project is on evaluation and promotion of endangered and vulnerable plant species of Vrbas canyon. Our research includes eighteen plant species from IUCN Red list. We have chosen this location because canyon is refugial habitat and also very popular rafting zone. Our project includes: fieldwork research, educations in schools and faculty, promotions in rafting clubs, cooperation with local community and tourists.

Through education of students and pupils we aim to raise awareness within young generations regarding the importance of plant protection and conservation. We believe that this project will improve the environmental knowledge of the local community.
