Vanilla pompona is an endangered orchid within the IUCN list. Mexico is known as the center of diversification and origin of vanilla. However, its habitat is highly threatened by constant land change use. In addition, native pollinators such as bees have not yet been studied, and in some regions of Mexico, they are eradicated since their habitat has been displaced.
Therefore, this work aims to identify associated pollinators of Vanilla pompona in Ruíz, Nayarit, in a moderately conserved Medium sub-evergreen forest for subsequent conservation strategies using, in-situ, the strong insects-plant networking association.
