The project aims to investigate insect species in threatened mangrove ecosystems, assessing the effects of habitat changes and environmental factors on species abundance and distribution.

This will create the first insect biodiversity database for northern Vietnam's mangroves, aiding future insect identification and informing management policies and conservation strategies. Additionally, a specimen collection and media files will be prepared for educational activities like lectures, workshops, and exhibitions.
